## About Frost Mine Spring

Frost Mine Spring is a lukewarm seep roughly ten miles out of Kingman in Mohave County, on BLM ground. Nobody would call it a soak. The water comes out cooler than a bath, warm enough only to stand apart from the other seeps in these hills, and the USGS logs it as a thermal site. Mostly it interests people who collect obscure thermal points on a map. Access is open.

Frost Mine Road passes within a few hundred feet, close enough that getting to the seep takes no real effort. The land is public, administered by the BLM's Kingman Field Office, dry country a bit over four thousand feet up where winters bring a dusting of snow and rain stays under a foot in a typical year. The record says nothing about the ground right at the seep, and no fee or bath structure of any kind is listed.

Winter is the season the averages favor, December through February. Snowfall is light. Wild Cow Springs Campground is the closest place to camp, about seven and a half miles off. The temperature on file comes with no date, so treat it as approximate, and expect lukewarm water whatever the reading says.
