## About Springs

A cluster of springs beside Death Valley Road, a few miles from Pahrump in Nye County, on BLM land out of the Barstow Field Office. Access is open. There is no temperature reading on file, and the record makes no claim about the water being warm enough to sit in.

Roadside, about two hundred feet off Death Valley Road. Low desert, around 1,350 feet, with four inches of rain in a year and a mean temperature in the low seventies, which points to hot summers. Snow is all but nonexistent.

Nobody rated the months here. Given how dry and warm it runs, the cooler half of the year picks itself. No campground and no fee turn up. The USGS knows it by a site number, nothing more. Questions about rules go to the Barstow Field Office. With no temperature recorded, treat this as something to look at. A soak is not a safe bet.
