## About Tule Spring

Tule Spring is a warm BLM spring far out in Millard County's west desert, about fifty miles from Delta, the nearest town of any size. The water is warm enough to notice and too cool to count as a hot soak, comfortable on a cool morning. Public access is listed as open, and the ground belongs to the Bureau of Land Management's Fillmore Field Office.

Tule Spring Road runs within a couple hundred feet of the spring, so this is a drive-up stop on public land. The country is low desert basin for Utah, around forty-four hundred feet, and among the driest in the record, with something like six inches of precipitation a year and very little snow. Fillmore Field Office manages the surrounding ground.

Winter is the listed season, and with so little snow out here that is a realistic plan. No campground appears on file anywhere near, so this is a long day from Delta or a self-contained overnight on BLM land. The water was sampled in 1983, newer than most springs in this part of the state but still decades old. Access is open on the record.
