An unmeasured warm spring in Gates of the Arctic National Park, in the North Slope Borough, named for its position near the Arrigetch Peaks. Access is open. The nearest road is more than forty-five miles away and the nearest community in the record, Nuiqsut, lies over two hundred. The record says warm and gives no number.
Park backcountry, a little over fifteen hundred feet up, with the yearly average temperature well below freezing. Little precipitation falls, and a fair share of it is snow. The distance from the closest road is the only access detail recorded. No facilities appear. The National Park Service administers the ground and the listing names no land designation beyond national park.
No best-months figure is recorded. This is a wilderness park trip and the spring is an aside to it. Do not route a trip around a warm spring whose temperature nobody has written down. Warm, per the record, which at best means short of hot. Talk to the park about backcountry travel.
